Who we are
DatingFarang.com (“we,” “us,” “the site”) publishes content about cross-cultural dating, relationships, and life in Thailand. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors, why, and how it’s handled.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Fathom Analytics to understand overall site traffic — page views, referral sources, general location (country/region level), and device type. Fathom does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. No individual visitor is ever identified.
Contact. If you email us, we collect the information you send (your email address and message) solely to respond to your inquiry. We don’t add you to any mailing list from an email alone.
Comments. If you leave a comment on a post, the comment form collects your name, email address, and the comment content, plus an anonymized version of your IP address and a browser-generated “hash” (avatar) string, to help detect spam.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and performance purposes. These logs are not used to build individual visitor profiles.
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fathom Analytics is cookieless by design. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required, a consent banner will be added.
